Step 1: Download the Google Home App

Before you plug anything in, grab the Google Home app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). You'll need a Google account. If you use Gmail, you already have one.

Step 2: Plug In Your Device

Connect your Google Home or Nest speaker to power. You'll hear a startup chime and the lights will pulse, which means it's ready to be set up.
